Summary
Tape Filth is a free sample library for Kontakt 8 (full version required), built from a collection of synth samples processed through two characterful cassette machines. Each deck imparts its own unmistakable sonic fingerprint:
RadioShack CTR-121 – Warm, warbly, and intimate, perfect for nostalgic textures.
Sony BM-147 – Originally a courtroom transcriber from 1982, bringing a crunchy, lo-fi authenticity.
